Box Hill

15th December 2001

This was the final Box Hill meeting of the year and we had approximately 13 cars turn up with their owners and other halves enjoying a nice spot of lunch at the Hand in Hand pub in Box Hill village. The day consisted mainly of extracting the Michael out of young Jamie Beeston, who had the audacity to trade in his GTO for a pink TVR Chimeara and then turn up to the meet in said "Barbie" car!

It was a great day out once again and it was nice to meet and greet some of the newer members. Respect to Mark Beale, who came all the way from Nottingham!

Ewan trying Jamie's TVR out for size

You look pretty snug in there!

This is my car, which I'm ashamed to say was the filthiest car at the meet

Funnily enough, the headlights work a lot better if you clean them!

These are the car mats Mark Sturman has managed to get made up. If you want a set, try looking in the "merchandise" section on the web site (not done at time of writing)

What a motley looking bunch! ;-)

This is Jason's (I think) GTO with Kaze bodykit. Just needs a decent set of wheels to set it off

This is what we really think of Jamie's TVR! ;-)

Talk about spoiling the line-up!

Simon and Mark looking very suspicious

Nice turnout!

Stevie "Kempwood" Robb's custom wing

Can't remember whose car this is but it's a nice example

Oh put it away! :-)

It's that filthy car again!

Jamie practising his "pushing" technique

Go on, give it a good shove! You'll be doing this soon enough on the hard shoulder!

Some old biddy drove into the side of Zangief's car the day before the meet - he was not best pleased!
